We are looking for an established and hard-working individual with a minimum of 5 years of experience working with library databases to join our team in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for managing our reference library and contributing to the research requirements of various departments. The candidate must have excellent organisational and record-keeping skills, the ability to adhere to tight deadlines, and be very comfortable with database management systems. Compensation offered is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all records related to the reference library including the online library module
- Oversee the circulation of library materials, keep track of due return dates, and follow up with team members as and when necessary
- Conduct regular checks and updates on inventory and database information
- Oversee the digitisation of the library and work closely and coordinate with the external digitising agency as required
- Assist the Client Relations, Editorial, and Marketing teams with sourcing reference material
- Assist with research-related tasks
- Assist with checking the accuracy of sources and research material
Requirements:
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree
- Previous library database management experience is necessary
- Familiar and comfortable with working with various database management systems
- Excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail
- Should be a team player with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks within agreed-upon deadlines
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken English)
- A background in or knowledge about Indian art is preferable

The POS Library Executive will play a pivotal role, through managing, maintaining and being the expert for our Global POS Asset Library. For those outside of the industry, a ‘POS Asset Library’ refers to an asset library for Point of Sale items.
Working closely with our UK global teams, you will maintain the structure, integrity and effectiveness of our POS library, ensuring the assets are readily available and easily accessible. This will allow your future colleagues to effectively deliver outsourced marketing execution solutions for our client.
In this role, you will interact with all users (clients, colleagues, suppliers and tech services) and will provide support to enable them to maximise the library, through providing training, ad-hoc support and generally by being an advocate for the library.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a positive outlook, you will be a self-starter who will make the library into their own. You will be comfortable working within a busy team, dealing with ambiguity at time, but always with a calm and collective approach.

marginalised communities with high quality, value-based education, enabling the development of their limitless potential. We run three municipal schools in Mumbai in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM), and one school for tribal children in Igatpuri.
Aseema reaches out to 4,400 children living in vulnerable circumstances in urban slums and tribal communities.
