SUGAR is looking for a User Experience & Interface Designer. One who agrees on the importance and criticality of good design and has a good understanding of human responsiveness and psychological behavior. He/she will be working very closely with the Product and engineering teams

Job Responsibilities:-

• Working in coordination with product managers and engineers to develop interactive designs and continuously find ways to enhance its own designs and implementation.
• Lead and evangelize best user-interface design practices creating exceptional user experience.
• Lead the design process by creating sketches, wire-frames, navigation flow charts, photoshop mockups and interactive prototypes
• Understand customer behaviour, psychology, business drivers and objectives, and translate them into efficient UI design
• Participate in user research & usability testing whenever required
• Create user personas, User journey, Information architecture
• Stay abreast with the latest UX design practices for mobile applications.
• Understand material design concepts and have worked on them
• Work on all platforms (Website, android app, iOS app)
• Work closely with technology team to analyze and improve the product performance and conversion

Experience:-

• 2-4 yrs experience in online product design with at least 2 years experience in designing interface for mobile products
• Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign, sketch etc.) or equivalent software
• Ecommerce background to be mandate.

Qualifications:-

• Bachelor/Master Degree in any of the following areas - HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), Interaction Design, Interface Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, Art/Design, or other relevant programs.
• Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign, sketch etc.) or equivalent software

Desired Skills:-

• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Ability to prototype in HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, Ajax, CSS, Flash or Catalyst is a strong plus,
• Familiarity with Responsive Web Design (RWD) techniques and tools is a plus
• Ability to work both collaboratively as part of a team, and independently with minimal supervision, on multiple projects
• Great attention to detail

Your Role at CredAble

• Take full ownership and responsibility of projects to every detail and every step of the product journey.
• Solve complex design problems in simple and intuitive ways, that blend brand personality, visual, motion, and sound to create delightful experiences.

• Create work that scales and flexes across a variety of audiences, devices, platforms, and form factors ranging from phones to tablets over to laptops and computers.

Preferred Skills:

• Interaction design work experience in product and consumer-facing companies.

• Familiarity with the capabilities and constraints of several of today’s and tomorrow’s digital devices and platforms
• Understand business and strategy, and align solutions with them
• User and data-focused design mentality.
• You are constantly looking to hone your team’s instincts through user feedback and data insight.
• You understand the role and importance of qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

• Willingness to do hands-on design, sketching concepts, tweaking flows, and polishing designs that represent big-thinking work.
• You are a thoughtful designer and critical thinker who questions the status quo and strives for improvement
• Proficient in Figma (if not, Sketch/XD).
• Experience with tools such as Principle, Framer, Webflow, or Adobe Suite is a plus.
• Strong ability to recognize and predict use cases and user interaction, including happy path as well as edge and corner cases, and incorporate them in designs.
• Outstanding communication/presentation skills
